🌿 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞

We recently met colleagues from the 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 project to explore synergies between our two Horizon Europe initiatives.

While 𝐎𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 focuses on turning olive mill waste into bio‑based solutions for plant and soil health, bioplastics and bioenergy, 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 is advancing safe, biodegradable crop protection products. What connects us is a shared systems perspective: 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬, 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬.

During our exchange, we identified clear overlaps – from 𝐜𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐛𝐢𝐨‑𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐬 and 𝐬𝐨𝐢𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 to 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 across agricultural value chains.
